Austin, TX • Pop-Funk / Indie Soul
Motown grooves for the modern age.
"Ryan Salata makes pop-funk and indie soul out of Austin, Texas. Think Motown grooves, a punchy horn section, and warm, easy melodies, the kind of sound that makes a room move and smile at the same time. Part surfer, part cowboy, all groove."
Ryan Salata is an Austin-based pop-funk and indie soul artist who makes music that hits like a warm Sunday afternoon with a full horn section.
Rooted in Motown soul and indie warmth, Ryan has taken the stage at SXSW, Stubb's, The Saxon Pub, and Sofar Sounds Austin, building a devoted following one infectious groove at a time.
